Job description

About Huzzle
At Huzzle, we connect exceptional talent with top opportunities at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Our clients include fast-growing startups, digital agencies, SaaS companies, and tech-enabled businesses across industries such as MarTech, FinTech, EdTech, and eCommerce. Unlike traditional outsourcing agencies, we place you directly with innovative companies where you become a valued member of the team.
About the company
This is a fast-growing media business focused on producing world-class business content, including in-depth interviews with the founders of some of the world's most successful companies. With an audience of over 2 million followers across social media, the company has built a significant global presence and is committed to creating industry-leading content.
Job Summary
We are on a mission to build the best business podcast in the world. With over 2 million followers across social channels and a track record of generating $30M in sales from our previous media venture, we have the resources and the reach-now we need the visionary producer to help us execute. This is a "Day 1" founding role where you will work directly with the host to tell the stories of the world's greatest founders. We are investing $1M into this production to ensure it is undeniably the best; if mediocrity makes you uncomfortable and you are ready to build a global media brand from the ground up, this is your seat.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead End-to-End Production: Act as the DP, director, and audio engineer. You will own the shoot from the moment the gear arrives until the final file is backed up.
  • Master the Technical Setup: Source cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio gear. You will build high-end studio environments from scratch, whether in a permanent NYC studio or a temporary setup on location.
  • Global Field Production: Travel extensively (London, Canada, LA, NYC) to capture the show. You will be responsible for the "walks and talks," guest arrivals, and the behind-the-scenes vlogs that give the show its soul.
  • Creative Partnership: Move beyond the lens to help land guests, conduct research, pressure-test questions, and shape the show's packaging.
  • High-Stakes Editing: While dedicated editors handle long-form hero episodes, you will own the high-impact creative edits, sizzle reels, and vlogs that require your specific touch.
  • Team Building: As the show scales, you will be responsible for hiring and managing the production team underneath you.

Requirements
  • Production Polymath: You are a "crew of one" who can light a scene, mic a guest, and frame a shot at a broadcast-quality level without help.
  • Uncompromising Taste: You have a deep understanding of what looks and sounds high-end and you refuse to settle for "good enough."
  • Relentless Resourcefulness: You find ways through logistical walls and thrive in high-pressure, irregular environments.
  • Total Focus: This is your only professional commitment. We seek someone who is "all in" with no side hustles or freelance distractions.
  • Growth Mindset: You are a "Ten" on the Schwarzman scale-someone who senses problems before they happen and designs solutions independently.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience shooting for high-growth YouTube channels or top-tier podcasts.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates both cinematic polish and raw, compelling storytelling.
  • Knowledge of the business/entrepreneurship media landscape.
  • Experience managing and scaling a production team in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits
Peer Community: Connect with high-performing sales professionals in our network
Ongoing Support: Receive guidance from Huzzle before and after placement
