Reno Staffing is hiring a bilingual Customer Service Representative for a well-established power tool manufacturing and distribution company in Reno, NV. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a company that values teamwork, professionalism, and career growth.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:45am-4:45pm.
Pay: $19.50/hour
Location: 89506, North Valleys.

Summary
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing outstanding customer support by phone and email while processing orders accurately and efficiently. This position works closely with multiple departments to ensure customers receive timely assistance with orders, product availability, returns, billing questions, and account support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and excels in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries by phone and email regarding:
    • Order status
    • Product availability
    • Shipping and billing questions
    • Return requests
    • Repair status
    • Claims and general account support
  • Process customer orders received through phone, email, EDI, B2B platforms, and other ordering systems.
  • Perform accurate and efficient data entry while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Verify pricing, inventory availability, shipping locations, and payment information.
  • Promote current company promotions and identify upselling opportunities when appropriate.
  • Process return authorizations and customer account adjustments.
  • Manage customer correspondence and respond promptly to inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and daily activity reports.
  • Collaborate with departments including Sales, Accounting, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Management.
  • Assist with administrative projects and other office support duties as assigned.
  • Meet daily productivity and quality goals (KPIs).
  • Follow up with customers and internal departments to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • At the discretion of your lead or supervisor, you may be required to perform additional job-related duties not specifically listed above.
Competencies
To perform this job successfully, candidates should demonstrate:
  • Customer Service and/or Call Center experience required
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Professional phone and email etiquette
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
  • Positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • College coursework or related customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems, E-Commerce, B2B, or EDI is a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or the power tool industry is a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
