Position: IBM EDI Sterling Consultant

Location: Miami, Florida, USA (Day onsite)


Qualifications

Should have 8 to 10 + years of relevant EDI integration on IBM Sterling Integrator.

Good hands-on experience in architecting, high-level and low-level IBM Sterling Integrator (6.1.0 or higher) platform designing, implementing solutions.

Experience with translation tools such as SI Map editor and Graphical Process Modeler.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and collaboration tools like Teams.

Proficiency in EDI transaction set (X12, EDIFACT) and ERP (SAP-IDOC) format.

5-6 years of business process development experience.

Unix / Linux / MS Windows.

Have experience installing Sterling Integrator.


Roles & Responsibilities:

Working knowledge of data mapping and translation.

Full Cycle EDI testing of Installed Interfaces within EDI and ERP system.

Design develop and implement integration solutions to meet business requirements

Create mapping specification documents according to the requirements.

Experience with creating maps for different formats - EDI to XML, XML to EDI, IDOC to X12, X12 to IDOC, IDOC to EDIFACT, EDIFACT to IDOC, DB to X12, X12 to DB, FLAT File to Flat File.

Working experience with EDI documents like 850, 855, 856, 860, 865.

Configure adapters like JDBC, FSA, SFTP, FTP, HTTP, AS2 in Sterling Integrator business process.

Working experience with different protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, AS2.

Previous experience in SAP environment.

Evaluate Sterling daily transactions for required action.

Install and upgrade Sterling Integrator for fix packs.

Troubleshoot and debug system and data errors, implementing corrective measures to maintain accuracy.

Handle the errors that generate out of Sterling B2B products as needed 24/7.Resolve issues related to failed transactions, reprocess failed or unprocessed files.

Manage relationships with multiple trading partners, fostering strong vendor relationships.

Onboard new transaction sets and implement advanced EDI functionality, ensuring seamless integration with trading partners.

Familiarity with EDI VAN and customer collaborated portals example Ariba, SupplyOn etc.
