Position Overview

Our client is seeking an IT Specialist with strong SAP support experience to provide technical and functional support for SAP end-users while supporting overall IT operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with internal teams, outsourced SAP consultants, and production staff to ensure smooth system functionality, issue resolution, user support, and operational continuity.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP modules including SD, MM, PP, and FICO, along with strong troubleshooting, communication, and user support capabilities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key ResponsibilitiesSAP End-User Support

Modules: SD / MM / PP / FICO

1. User Assistance & Support
  • Respond to SAP end-user inquiries and support requests.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues including:

    • System errors

    • Login issues

    • Transaction-related problems

    • Performance concerns

  • Escalate complex issues to outsourced SAP consultants when required.

2. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
  • Diagnose and resolve SAP technical and functional issues.

  • Support users across SAP modules including:

    • SD (Sales & Distribution)

    • MM (Materials Management)

    • PP (Production Planning)

    • FICO (Finance & Controlling)

3. System Monitoring & Maintenance
  • Perform routine SAP system health checks.

  • Identify and troubleshoot system bottlenecks and configuration issues.

  • Collaborate with SAP Basis support teams to maintain system performance and availability.

4. User Training & Documentation
  • Conduct SAP training sessions and user coaching.

  • Create and maintain:

    • User manuals

    • Training documentation

    • Process guides

5. Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate documentation of:

    • Support tickets

    • Issue resolutions

    • Escalations

  • Assist with report generation and process documentation within SAP systems.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

7. SAP System Enhancements

8. Compliance & Security
  • Ensure adherence to company SAP user policies and security standards.

  • Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and system security within the SAP environment.

  • Investigate and resolve computer-related concerns for employees.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and IT equipment.
