Job Title: Senior EDI Consultant
Location: Troy, MI
Job Type: Full-Time

GETR is a forward-thinking organization committed to delivering seamless and innovative solutions to our clients. We are looking for an experienced EDI Consultant to join our team in Troy, MI. If you have expertise in EDI processes and a passion for driving efficiency and innovation, we’d love to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing EDI guidelines and preparing mapping specifications for EDI transactions
  • Work with EDIFACT, VDA, and ANSI X12 standards
  • Strong knowledge of IDoc configuration and processing in SAP.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, ensuring timely and accurate data exchanges with trading partners.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external trading partners to implement and test EDI solutions.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with EDI standards, guidelines, and messaging protocols.
  • Document EDI processes, mappings, and configurations for future partner onboarding.
  • Work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure effective interface design and deployment.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in EDI Consultant.
  • Proficiency in EDI systems and standards, including EDIFACT, VDA and ANSI X12.
  • Must have experience with Seeburger experience-mapping, setting up and onboarding etc.
  • Hands-on experience with EDI transaction sets such as 850, 830, 862 856, 810 and corresponding EDIFACT/ VDA transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of IDoc configuration and processing in SAP.
  • Configure and manage IDoc interfaces for seamless integration with SAP
  • Expertise in EDI mapping tools such SeeBurger, Gentran, OpenText and creating mapping specifications.
  • Understanding of messaging protocols and standards, including AS2, FTP/SFTP, and HTTP.
  • Proven experience with interface design and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

 

Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus

 

NOTE : Hands on experience in SAP is more preference.
