What are some common challenges faced by EDI consultants when integrating EDI solutions with legacy systems?

EDI Consultants often encounter challenges when integrating modern EDI solutions with legacy systems, such as compatibility issues, limited documentation, and outdated protocols. Overcoming these hurdles requires strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills help you effectively coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders. These competencies ensure smooth integration of EDI solutions, minimize operational disruptions, and support efficient data exchange between trading partners.
