OVERVIEW:

This position serves as the primary point of contact for vendors, ensuring compliance with DSG's supply chain programs, requirements, and initiatives. The Vendor Relation Representative acts as a liaison between vendors, Merchandising, DC Operations, and Logistics teams to resolve compliance issues and drive continuous improvement.

This role collects, analyzes, and interprets data from multiple systems to evaluate vendor performance, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights

through reporting tools, including AI-enabled solutions such as Microsoft Copilot, to support decision-making and compliance improvement initiatives

Job Duties and Responsibilities:Vendor Collaboration
  • Complete daily tasks generated through DSG's Vendor Compliance Portal related to compliance chargeback

    disputes, inquiries, and requests for supporting documentation.

  • Review chargeback details to ensure accuracy, validate supporting documentation, and provide timely resolution.

  • Communicate with vendors to identify root causes of compliance issues and develop corrective action plans.

  • Coordinate vendor meetings through Microsoft Teams with Supply Chain and Logistics partners: prepare

    meeting agendas, document discussion points, and capture action items using OneNote and other collaboration tools.

  • Provide support to vendors during EDI setup, testing, and implementation.

  • Guide new vendors through onboarding activities and provide resources to ensure compliance success.

  • Utilize Copilot and AI-enabled tools to summarize vendor communications, prepare meeting recaps, and identify recurring compliance trends.

Internal Collaboration with DCs and various CSC departments
  • Provide updates on vendor performance issues and compliance trends to Vendor Relations leadership.

  • Partner with Distribution Centers to resolve vendor-related issues efficiently and effectively.

  • Serve as a liaison between Distribution Centers and Merchandising teams regarding compliance concerns, operational challenges, or requests for clarification.

  • Support communication and implementation of new DSG supply chain initiatives.

  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to assist with compiling departmental updates, summarizing issue trends, and preparing stakeholder communications.

Additional Tasks
  • Compile and prepare weekly and monthly supply chain compliance reports in accordance with established SOPs.

  • Review chargeback data for accuracy prior to uploading, approving, or releasing transactions within compliance systems.

  • Analyze weekly chargeback activity and identify opportunities for process improvements and vendor performance enhancements.

  • Enter chargeback data into GT Nexus/Tradecard for import vendors.

  • Complete chargeback review activities required for final approval.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1-3 years of experience

  • Working knowledge of supply chain systems (PKMS, EDI, PMMS/JDA, TMS preferred)

  • Working knowledge of supply chain systems, including EDI

    platforms and Microsoft 365 applications.

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI-

    enabled business tools
