Job description

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:ย 

  • Act as the liaison between IT, Sales, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, business subject matter experts, suppliers, retailers, and EDI providers supporting existing EDI connections, leads new EDI implementations, and implements EDI processes to improve business outcomesย 
  • Serves as lead for all EDI communication between internal users, external trading partners, and external communications network providers, driving advanced troubleshooting and conducting onboarding of new trading partnersย 
  • Works collaboratively with suppliers, customers, and 3rd party vendors to implement new EDI business processes and make recommendations for ways to improve these processes based on existing operating proceduresย 
  • Monitor data flow and analyze and resolve issues in a timely manner as well as maintain all EDI documentation, including EDI specifications and business processesย 
  • Supports analysis and testing of transaction implementations and mapping of EDI standardsย 
  • Other duties as assignedย 
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology or related field and 1 to 2 years of related experience or High School Diploma and 3 to 5 years plus of related experienceย 

Preferred Education and Experience:ย 

  • Bachelor's Degreeย 
  • Experience and proven track record working with EDI systems, EDI providers, and EDI trading partners ย ย 
  • Knowledge ANSI X12 file specifications for commerce (850,855,856,810,864 etc)ย 
  • SQL a plus ย 
  • Experience with Vermont Information Processing, Opentext and Fintechย
