Position Summary: As our CNC Programmer you will be a part of a team responsible for working closely with management, colleagues, and vendors to meet production requirements. You will support the lean process to promote cost reductions and maximize profitable growth, provide excellent customer service and quality, and promote continual improvement and safety.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer EDGECAM experience is a plus
  • Solidworks experience is a plus
  • Previous ERP system experience used to creating BOM/Routers when required
  • Communicating daily with machine shop employees to maintain a monthly schedule for production and shipments
  • Efficient communication with the sales team to update quote requests and lead times to ensure customer needs are met to the best of our abilities as & when needed.
  • High school diploma required
  • Product knowledge preferred, but not required

Are You Our Next ACE?
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and follow oral and written instructions
  • Respond promptly to programming requests and select the best metal cutting tooling for each job
  • Write and generate CNC programs according to each part's routing instructions using EDGECAM software.
  • Verify and maintain CNC programs using verification software per the established standards
  • Troubleshoot machining nonconformances that are caused by the CNC program
  • Work with tooling vendors to understand, test, and implement the latest cutting tool technology
  • When needed, be able to quote new jobs when requested by the sales department.
