Job description

Assembler

PAY RANGE: $18.39-$23.51/hr. BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Position Summary

EDCO is seeking a dependable and hardworking Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling equipment according to engineering drawings and work instructions while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in producing quality products.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions to assemble equipment and machine components
  • Build a variety of products and machines daily
  • Operate a forklift as required
  • Perform regular lifting of materials and components weighing up to 80 pounds
  • Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Work at various assembly stations based on production requirements
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Basic shop math skills
  • Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and instructions
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools
