The Detroit Regional Chamber in Detroit, MI is seeking a part time Integrated Communications Intern. This is a paid Internship offering $15.00 per hour. Flexible schedule of 30 hours per week. Join our team today as an Integrated Communications Intern.

INTEGRATED COMMUICATIONS INTERN QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Working towards a college degree/recently graduated from a four-year program in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and tracking social media metrics.
  • Experience updating web content using WordPress or other website management platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to write clearly and effectively for a variety of media.
  • Must have effective communication skills, creativity and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Photo editing experience a plus

INTEGRATED COMMUNICATIONS INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Integrated Communications Intern you will be responsible for supporting the Manager, Marketing Communications with copy writing, event coverage, email marketing, web and social content. This position will require a quick learner that is highly organized with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and have strong attention to detail. The Integrated Communciations Intern will be trained on how to build Chamber emials and to curated lists to maximize reach and engagement along with creating and editing online content specific to the Chamber website and its membership.
WORK SCHEDULE FOR INTEGRATED COMMUNICATIONS INTERN
This internship is part-time and will work 30 hours per week. This position is temporary, we are looking for someone to be available thru June 2027. The hours/ days of work are flexible but should fall between Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. The person in this role may need to occasionally travel throughout Southeastern Michigan. There are also opportunities to work from home.
