Altelix designs and manufactures high-quality weatherproof electrical enclosures and accessories for commercial, industrial, and wireless applications. As our product line continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior eCommerce Product Coordinator to join our in-house team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in eCommerce. We have established workflows, training, and processes in place and are looking for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and excited to grow within the company.

This position reports to the Web & Marketing Manager.

Position Summary

The Junior eCommerce Product Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and updating Altelix's BigCommerce website by creating and managing product listings, organizing website content, and supporting new product launches. This role works closely with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure product information is accurate, complete, and presented consistently across the website.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and working with detailed product information. While experience with eCommerce platforms is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate on our internal processes and website management workflows.

Primary Responsibilities

Product Management

· Create and publish new products in BigCommerce

· Maintain and update existing product listings

· Update pricing, specifications, product options, and downloadable documents

· Upload product images, manuals, and technical documentation

· Configure related products, accessories, and product options

· Organize product categories and website navigation

· Assist with product launches and website updates

· Perform quality assurance checks before products go live

Website Content

· Maintain accurate product descriptions and technical specifications

· Ensure website content remains organized, accurate, and up to date

· Assist with promotional and seasonal website updates

Website Support

· Make basic website content updates using pre-written HTML snippets

· Update product specification tables and formatted content

· Assist the Web & Marketing Manager with routine website maintenance

· Test product pages for formatting and consistency across desktop and mobile devices

Note: This position does not require web development experience. Basic HTML knowledge is helpful, and training will be provided for routine website content updates.

Cross-Department Collaboration

· Coordinate with Engineering to obtain technical specifications and product information

· Work with Sales and Marketing to ensure timely publication of new products

· Assist in maintaining consistency across website content and supporting documentation

Qualifications Required

· 1–3 years of experience in eCommerce, website administration, product content management, or a related field

· Excellent attention to detail

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Comfortable working with spreadsheets and product data

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

· Strong written communication skills

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred

· Experience with BigCommerce or another eCommerce platform

· Familiarity with Microsoft Excel

· Basic image editing experience

· Basic understanding of SEO best practices

· Basic HTML knowledge or willingness to learn simple website content updates

· Experience working with technical products or manufacturing environments
