Job description

BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for a Jr. Full Stack Web Developer to work for an Orange County area biomedical products company.

Contract: 3-6+ months (with possibility of converting to FTE based on performance)
Pay Rate: $47-57/hour DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop user interfaces and components of an internal laboratory information management system (LIMS).
  • Work with lab scientists and staff to design user flows for the operation of different lab tests.
  • Develop static sites with landing pages and blogs using WordPress.
  • Develop e-commerce sites with headless Shopify architecture and content management system. Develop custom frontends according to design and specifications.
  • Maintain and develop backend code and logics of an internal LIMS to accommodate addition of new tests and workflows.
  • Contribute to the modification and design of database schema and architecture.
  • Develop code to interact with e-commerce services’ APIs such as Shopify, Klaviyo, SendGrid, Twilio, Stripe, etc.
  • Develop middleware to support data flow and synchronization between different 3rd party services and/or internal systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience in creating and using REST APIs as well as version control tools such as Git.
  • Proficiency in:
    • React and/or Next.js framework, HTML, CSS.
    • Python backend framework such as Django and Flask.
  • Preferred Experience with:
    • Shopify site development, preferably in headless architecture.
    • content management systems such as Sanity.
    • Docker and CI/CD tools.
    • AWS services such as S3, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda, etc.
