Job description

SR. PRODUCT E-COMMERCE MANAGER (STARLINK)

The Starlink Enterprise Sales team is hiring a results-driven, capable Sr. Product E-Commerce Manager to support Starlink's adoption across the world. Starlink brings an unprecedented opportunity to positively impact communities, businesses, and governments worldwide. This role is part of a high velocity team with extremely high expectations - the role requires a strong balance of business and technical acumen, as well as knowledge of the Starlink product and network, to support the Enterprise Sales team in achieving revenue targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the user experience of Enterprise customers for Starlink.com - this includes checkout experience, customer acquisition, retention, and product marketing
  • Identify and develop improvements to pricing, product, and go-to-market strategies to support revenue growth and be able to defend them internally
  • Support the integration of new hardware and service products into Starlink's growing portfolio - this includes pricing, operations, sales enablement, and product portfolio management
  • Support the sales engagements of the broader team, engage with customers, and answer questions around commercial models and product capabilities
  • Work in partnership with our Licensing, Government Affairs, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Product Engineering teams
  • Consult with Sales Operations to improve Go-to-market processes for new product offerings
  • Oversee technical training and development for team members
  • Represent Starlink at global conferences and events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Business discipline or 5+ years of professional working experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of professional experience in technical sales or product management
  • 5+ years of previous experience in a customer-facing role

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous technical experience focused on computer networking or software development
  • Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives
  • Distinctive business judgment, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong ability to prioritize the most impactful actions for the organization even in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent project management, problem solving and analysis skills
  • Experience analyzing data, identifying insights, and developing creative approaches to solving problems
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude for the products you've supported

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time to customer locations and other SpaceX locations

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:
Sr. Product E-Commerce Manager: $130,000.00 - $205,000.00/yr

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other discounts and perks. You may also accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation and will be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year. Employees in Washington State accrue paid sick time in compliance with state and federal law. Company shuttles are offered to employees for roundtrip travel from select Seattle locations to the SpaceX Redmond office Monday to Friday.

This position is also eligible for a sales bonus plan.
