Description of Job:

The E-Commerce Operations Associate is responsible for supporting daily e-commerce operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment, vendor compliance, and a positive customer experience from order placement through delivery. This role works cross-functionally with internal departments and external retail partners to support order processing, inventory management, EDI communication, and issue resolution across multiple e-commerce platforms.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


· Support daily e-commerce operations including order processing, fulfillment coordination, and customer support activities.

· Collaborate with Import, Demand Planning, Accounting, Distribution, EDI, Engineering, Product Management, Customer Service, and Sales teams to ensure vendor compliance requirements are met.

· Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time in accordance with retailer requirements and routing guides.

· Monitor and audit orders through SL10, CommerceHub, EDI systems, SPS Commerce, and customer portals.

· Maintain communication with distribution centers to support timely and accurate order fulfillment.

· Identify and resolve order discrepancies, pricing issues, EDI transmission errors, and inventory feed concerns.

· Submit and maintain inventory feeds for customers requiring manual updates.

· Coordinate with retailers and carriers to resolve transportation, shipment, and chargeback-related issues.

· Create replacement orders and manually enter customer orders when required.

· Upload ASN and tracking information to customer portals as needed.

· Maintain SKU tracking files and related operational reporting.

· Escalate operational issues to management in a timely manner.

· Assist with day-to-day account maintenance and support ad-hoc requests from retailers and internal teams.

· Respond promptly to customer and retailer inquiries via email and other communication channels.

· Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, retailers, and internal teams.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to order management, fulfillment, and operational processes.

· Proactively identify operational, fulfillment, and marketplace issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.

· Participate in cross-functional meetings related to vendor compliance performance, operational metrics, and retailer updates.

· Support overall business needs through collaboration, communication, and problem resolution.

· Perform additional duties and assignments as required.

Education and Experience:

· Associate degree preferred in Business, Communications, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.

· Previous experience in e-commerce operations, order management, customer service, or administrative support preferred.

· Experience working with order processing systems, EDI platforms, or retailer portals preferred.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

· Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
