Position Summary

The Director of Sales and Asset Monetization is the executive leader responsible for the entire revenue engine of the ITAD division. Reporting directly to the ITAD EVP, you will sit on the divisional leadership team and own the Asset Acquisitions & Sales function on our Accountability Chart.

This role requires a highly strategic visionary who understands the full lifecycle of secondary-market IT hardware. You are the architect of our arbitrage and remarketing engine. You will dictate our sourcing strategy to buy the right equipment, and you will design our omnichannel distribution strategy to sell it through the most profitable avenues. A major focus of this role will be spearheading the strategic expansion of our direct-to-consumer (DTC) digital brand, particularly through a comprehensive evolution of our Shopify platform.

You will Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable (LMA) a core team, while actively designing and building out the future organizational structure required to scale the division.

What You Will Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Asset Acquisition and Sales team, including the Sr. ITAD Buyer, E-commerce Manager/ITAD Support, and ITAD E-commerce Listers.
  • Build a high-performing team by recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining top talent as the department grows.
  • Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and accountability while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Evaluate organizational needs and recommend changes to team structure, roles, and responsibilities to support business growth.
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve cross-functional processes that align with ITAD Operations, Technology Support, and other departments to maximize efficiency and scalability.
    • Lead the growth and evolution of Securis' direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce business, continuously improving the Shopify platform to enhance the customer experience, increase conversions, and drive revenue.
    • Develop and execute strategies to expand Securis' presence across online marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, Back Market, and emerging sales channels.
    • Optimize product listings, pricing, merchandising, and digital marketing initiatives to maximize sales performance and profitability.
    • Strengthen the Securis digital brand by delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience that builds trust, encourages repeat business, and supports long-term growth.
    • Evaluate new technologies, platforms, and market opportunities that expand Securis' online reach and competitive position.
    • Develop pricing strategies and decision frameworks that maximize the value of inbound IT assets across retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and broker channels.
    • Determine the most profitable sales channel for each asset by balancing gross margin, inventory velocity, and market demand.
    • Review and approve high-value purchases and sales to ensure transactions meet profitability objectives.
    • Monitor secondary-market trends and adjust purchasing strategies, pricing, and inventory allocation to remain competitive and maximize returns.
    • Analyze market conditions, product demand, and pricing data to support informed buying and selling decisions.
Business Development
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive the acquisition of high-value IT assets aligned with market demand and company objectives.
  • Partner with the Sr. ITAD Buyer to identify high-demand asset categories and implement targeted sourcing initiatives through enterprise clients, brokers, and strategic partners.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key suppliers, wholesale buyers, brokers, and strategic vendors to expand sourcing opportunities and increase sales.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities that support long-term revenue growth and expand Securis' market presence.
  • Lead negotiations and oversee high-value purchasing and sales opportunities to maximize profitability and strengthen strategic partnerships.
Required Qualifications
  • 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), e-commerce, IT hardware sales, secondary market electronics, or a related industry.
  • Proven success leading and growing e-commerce operations, including direct-to-consumer (DTC) websites and online marketplaces.
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware valuation, secondary markets, wholesale distribution, and multi-channel sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and growing high-performing sales, purchasing, or e-commerce teams.
  • Experience creating and implementing business strategies that drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to make data‑driven decisions regarding purchasing, pricing, inventory, and sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
  • Experience selling through Amazon, eBay, Back Market, or other online marketplaces.
  • Experience working within the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS/Traction).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
