MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is conducting a confidential executive search for a rapidly growing U.S. manufacturing organization.

We are seeking a senior commercial leader to drive revenue expansion, develop strategic customer relationships, generate new business, and help scale a disciplined sales and marketing organization.

This individual will work directly with executive leadership and will play a central role in defining and executing the company's growth strategy.

The Opportunity

The selected executive will initially maintain a strong hands-on focus on new business generation while also providing strategic leadership across sales, key accounts, marketing, pricing, and commercial planning.

The ideal profile combines strong industry knowledge with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-growth, operationally intensive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive top-line growth across existing and new customers.
  • Develop and execute a commercial strategy aligned with aggressive growth objectives.
  • Identify high-value segments, customers, and market opportunities.
  • Build structured sales processes, forecasting discipline, pipeline visibility, and commercial performance metrics.
  • Own strategic relationships with major national accounts.
  • Lead negotiations, pricing strategy, and long-term customer agreements.
  • Develop new business with large retailers, e-commerce organizations, and high-volume commercial customers.
  • Oversee marketing priorities including positioning, messaging, customer communications, and lead-generation initiatives.
  • Partner closely with operations, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain to align customer demand with production capabilities.
  • Support pricing, margin management, forecasting, and profitability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product and operational teams on customer-driven innovation and new offerings.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, customer needs, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Translate market insights into actionable commercial plans.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in direct sales, business development, strategic accounts, or commercial leadership.
  • Significant experience selling into large retailers, e-commerce companies, industrial organizations, or other high-volume customers.
  • Strong knowledge of paper packaging, flexible packaging, mailers, paper products, or closely related manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing national or strategic accounts.
  • Strong commercial acumen across pricing, margin management, negotiations, and revenue growth.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and expand customer portfolios.
  • Experience operating in manufacturing-driven or operationally intensive environments.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with operations, supply chain, procurement, and production teams.
  • Executive-level communication skills and strong customer presence.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing and evolving organization.
Preferred Background

Particularly relevant experience may include:

  • Paper-based packaging products

  • High-volume manufacturing
  • Sustainable packaging solutions
  • Commercial organization scaling
  • Sales-process development
  • Pricing and margin optimization
  • Strategic account negotiations
