Are you a technical Regional Business Development Manager with experience in life sciences? If so, we want to hear from you!
Trane Technologies has an exciting new opportunity to join our organization as a Regional Business Development Manager! This position is the primary business development driver for our Life Sciences engineered solutions business nationally. This role focuses on turning up "net new" business and developing long-term relationships with general contractors, architects & engineering firms' indirect accounts. The successful candidate will be respected among high-level decision-makers in our industry as a "trusted advisor" and will have the ability to communicate a crisp vision of what Trane Technologies brings to the Life Sciences space.
What you will do:
  • Utilize business development process to identify new customers and develop specific action plans to grow new accounts in the Life Sciences space.
  • Consistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities. Assemble and coordinate acquisition team as needed for customers and projects.
  • Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required sales team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process. Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers in customer organizations.
  • Travel: 40% - 60%, dependent on business needs.

What you will bring:
  • A minimum of 4+ years of business development and indirect solution sales experience in the Life Sciences market space.
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining high-level business relationships that produce results.
  • First-hand experience and strong working knowledge in one or more of the following vertical markets: Pharmaceutical and Biopharma, as well as higher ed and healthcare spaces as they relate to life sciences
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related course of study is strongly preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
    • DUI in the previous 5 years
    • Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

$98,300.00 - $195,264.99
