Resource Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum and Instruction:
    • Support lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers
    • Offer personalized attention and foster an inclusive classroom environment 
    • Provide flexible classroom support for a seamless educational experience
  • Classroom Management:
    • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
    • Support daily routines and transitions to promote a nurturing learning environment
    • Support Lead Teachers in addressing behavioral issues with positive guidance and support
  • Family Communication:
    • Maintain positive communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's daily activities and acheivements
    • Encourage family involvement and participation in school activities
  • Health and Safety:
    • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas
    • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
    • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
