Job description

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide exceptional oral health care, educate patients on proper hygiene, and work closely with our dentists to deliver a positive experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and apply preventative materials.
  • Assessment & Diagnostics: Examine oral health, screen for disease, and take digital X-rays.
  • Patient Education: Teach patients proper oral hygiene techniques to maintain health.
  • Documentation & Safety: Record patient care in dental software and maintain a clean, sterile environment following OSHA/CDC guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Active State Dental Hygienist License (RDH) and current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Experience is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Familiarity with digital X-rays and dental software (Open Dental) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate chairside manner.

Pay is dependent on experience. The range is $40 to $50 hourly.

Company Description

Working for one dentist who two dental assistants support. Flexible schedule can be considered with hours per week ranging from 25 to 35 hours. A higher rate of pay will be considered based on experience.
