This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while still being a vital part of our dynamic outpatient team. • Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their symptoms related to eating disorders and associated mental health conditions.
• Develop individualized and evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting practical goals aimed at enhancing their recovery journey.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to address issues of body image, self-esteem, and disordered eating behaviors.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that empower clients to confront and reinterpret their distorted beliefs around nutrition, physical health, and self-worth.
• Equip clients with effective coping mechanisms, emotional regulation skills, and personal strategies for resisting disordered eating behaviors.
• Collaborate consistently with colleagues to coordinate care, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client's treatment and addressing their holistic needs.
• Provide psychoeducation for clients and their families regarding eating disorders, enhancing awareness, empathy, and creating a supportive environment for recovery.
• Maintain accurate records of each client's progress, treatment plans, and therapeutic sessions, adhering to legal and ethical standards for documentation and confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including team meetings and workshops, to advance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest advancements in eating disorder treatments.

This role primarily focuses on clients dealing with complex eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their unique challenges. The aim is to promote healthier relationships with food, body image, and self-esteem while fostering resilience and recovery.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
• A deep understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches for eating disorders, including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from the outset.
• A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and client confidentiality.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience specifically working with individuals suffering from eating disorders is preferred.
• Experience in a remote work environment, utilizing teletherapy platforms to deliver treatment effectively.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic methods pertinent to eating disorder treatment, while not required, would be advantageous.

• The role offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and specialization.
