Work Environment

This role operates within a remote setting, leveraging digital tools and telehealth resources to deliver therapy sessions to clients. Our regular business hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate both eating disorder symptoms and any co-occurring mental health conditions to inform treatment strategies.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, establishing measurable and achievable goals directed at their recovery journey.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) tailored to each individual's needs.
  • Guide therapy sessions focused on addressing clients' distorted beliefs surrounding food, body image, and self-worth while fostering a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Assist clients in cultivating effective coping mechanisms, emotional regulation skills, and practical strategies to resist disordered eating behaviors.
