This full-time, remote role involves providing evidence-based therapeutic services to clients struggling with various eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. This role operates within a remote setting, leveraging digital tools and telehealth resources to deliver therapy sessions to clients. You will work alongside a diverse and skilled multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and mental health professionals, facilitating an open and supportive atmosphere. Our regular business hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate both eating disorder symptoms and any co-occurring mental health conditions to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, establishing measurable and achievable goals directed at their recovery journey.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) tailored to each individual's needs.
• Guide therapy sessions focused on addressing clients' distorted beliefs surrounding food, body image, and self-worth while fostering a safe therapeutic environment.
• Assist clients in cultivating effective coping mechanisms, emotional regulation skills, and practical strategies to resist disordered eating behaviors.
• Collaborate with fellow treatment team members to ensure seamless care coordination, focusing on the holistic needs of clients.
• Provide psychoeducational resources to clients and their families, enhancing awareness and understanding of eating disorders to promote recovery-supportive environments.
• Maintain meticulous records of client progress, treatment plans, and session documentation in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and training opportunities to foster professional development and enhance therapeutic skills specific to eating disorders.

This position specifically focuses on clients suffering from a range of eating disorders. You will work closely with individuals facing complex relationships with food and body image, facilitating a therapeutic process that seeks to restore healthier mindsets and behaviors. Your work will impact their self-esteem, overall wellness, and integration back into healthy living practices.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee is essential.
• A demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies specifically related to eating disorders, including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• A deep understanding of the multifaceted nature of eating disorders alongside co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients to facilitate effective therapy.

• Minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience, particularly focused on eating disorders.
• Experience using telehealth platforms for counseling sessions is highly valued.
• A background in community health settings or clinics, providing services to diverse populations.

• Annual salary ranges between $80,000 and $100,000, with potential for specialization-based increases.
