Scan with Purpose in Vibrant Indianapolis - Where Innovation Meets Community
There's an undeniable charm in Indianapolis, a city where the pace of life complements its rich heritage and future-forward thinking. Imagine the golden glow of the sunrise illuminating the iconic monuments, and the rich culture that thrives through art, music, and sporting events. Whether it's helping a worried parent or providing reassurance to an elderly patient, your expertise will shine through, making a significant impact on their journey to wellness.
Your Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic and CT technology to produce high-quality images for physician assessment
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure precise diagnostics
  • Accurately position patients while calibrating imaging equipment for flawless results
  • Implement stringent radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff
  • Keep detailed imaging logs and equipment maintenance records updated
  • Deliver compassionate support throughout each step of the imaging process
  • Foster a clean, organized, and effective imaging environment
Education & Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program
Essential Certifications
  • ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
  • Current BLS certification or ability to secure it within 90 days of hire
Key Skills
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and radiation safety standards
  • Outstanding communication skills, especially when interacting with patients and team members
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting promptly to changing demands
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accountability
  • Comfortable with modern imaging software, PACS, and RIS systems
Your Benefits
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous paid time off with scheduling flexibility
  • Opportunities for ongoing education and professional development
  • Paths for career progression in imaging with potential cross-training in other modalities
  • A supportive, values-driven culture that emphasizes teamwork and individual growth
  • 100% on-site work in a collaborative clinical setting

The Heart of the Matter: Why Your Work Matters
In this profession, capturing a clear image transcends the technical; it's about seeing the person behind the scan. Your presence can ease the anxiety of a child after a fall or provide comfort to a patient facing a daunting diagnosis. As you stand behind the machinery, you're also standing with your patients, lending a comforting hand when they need it most.
But you will not be alone. You will join an imaging team that celebrates each other's successes and thrives on collaboration. Here, in this supportive environment, you'll be entrusted with a high level of responsibility while receiving unwavering support from those around you. This is healthcare at its best: deeply personal, highly professional, and endlessly compassionate.
Why Indianapolis Is Your Next Great Adventure
Imagine a place where you can savor artisanal coffee brewed by local baristas, explore winding trails in lush parks, and immerse yourself in the lively arts scene, all in a single afternoon. This is the life that awaits you in Indianapolis. Nestled in the heart of the Midwest, the city combines scenic parks, an array of museums, and a community spirit that welcomes newcomers with open arms.
Beyond the city's energetic downtown lies a blend of cozy neighborhoods where local markets thrive, and where families find connection in community parks. The cost of living is reasonable, making it easy to enjoy a vibrant lifestyle while benefiting from Indiana's no state income tax. As the healthcare landscape grows and evolves, accelerated by renowned institutions, there's no limit to the opportunities that await you in this field.
Your Future Teammates
Joining our imaging department means becoming part of a mission-driven team that believes in the importance of both technical excellence and human connection. You will be among a diverse group of professionals who understand that the art of imaging is not merely about equipment but about enhancing the patient experience. Celebrate achievements together, share in the challenges, and put patients at the forefront of all we do.
This position reports to a department that upholds values of openness, progress, and the power of a collaborative spirit. Your ideas and suggestions for improvement will not only be welcomed but will also play a crucial role in shaping how we deliver care every day.
What We Seek in You
This is the perfect opportunity for someone detail-oriented, who approaches every challenge with genuine empathy. You understand that imaging is more than just technology - it's an experience that shapes patients' perceptions of care. You're calm under pressure, adaptable to fluctuations in workflow, and passionate about being part of a community-focused environment.
Bring your credentials and expertise to the table, and we will provide the support, mentorship, and growth opportunities you seek.
Ready to Begin this Journey Together?
If you're poised to embrace a role where every day holds significance, where your talents are recognized and appreciated, then let's connect. Join us in Indianapolis, where every scan creates a new narrative of healing and hope.
