Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650+ provider multispecialty group seeking a full-time or part-time, board certified or board eligible Obstetrician/Gynecologist (Ob-Gyn) committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. This is a perfect opportunity for an OB-GYN seeking the support of a large health system and a well-organized multispecialty group practice.
Our 10-bed LDRP Unit with a 2-bed newborn nursery in Ontario, OR (60 miles west of Boise) is clinically integrated with the Obstetrical Unit and accommodates an annual delivery rate of 400+ babies. It is the only facility in Malheur, Payette, Fruitland, Adams, and Washington Counties providing care by OBGYNs providers for infants >36wks CGA.

With a commitment to practicing up-to-date, evidence-based medicine, the team s family-centered approach encourages parents and our expert staff in both the Boise, Nampa, and Ontario units to work together to achieve outcomes that exceed national benchmarks.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency;
  • Certification by the ABOG or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment;
  • NCC EFM certification within 6 months
  • Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC Ontario;
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy, DEA.
