The East Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships across the eastern region while driving growth in hardware monitoring solutions, software offerings, and digital asset performance management technologies. This role combines strategic account management, consultative selling, and commercial leadership to help customers improve asset reliability and operational performance.

You will work closely with customers, product management teams, and cross-functional commercial organizations to identify opportunities, drive revenue growth, and deliver value-based solutions across a diverse portfolio.

As an East Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing customer growth strategies for mid-sized customers throughout the Southeast region across hardware monitoring solutions and software offerings

  • Driving orders growth and expanding adoption of products, solutions, and services within targeted customer accounts

  • Engaging customers and promoting Asset Performance Management (APM) digital solutions within the Cordant portfolio

  • Leading and facilitating collaboration across Customer Care, Services, Commercial Operations, and Sales teams to deliver superior customer outcomes

  • Providing market feedback to Product Management regarding customer needs, new product opportunities, service enhancements, and product modifications

  • Supporting the development of business cases for new solutions and offerings based on customer and market insights

  • Facilitating Customer Advisory Board (CAB), Voice of Customer (VOC), and New Product Introduction (NPI) feedback sessions

  • Creating value-based, consultative, outcome-driven sales strategies by understanding customer business models, operational challenges, and key performance drivers

  • Interpreting and managing contractual commitments while ensuring alignment with customer expectations and business objectives

  • Building long-term strategic relationships that drive customer retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Have 3-5 years of experience in vibration monitoring solutions, SaaS offerings, or a combination of hardware and software sales

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience selling hardware solutions to industrial or utility customers

  • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

  • Possess the ability to coordinate multiple customer projects and initiatives simultaneously

  • Have experience managing customer relationships and delivering consultative sales solutions

  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify customer business challenges and translate them into value-driven solutions

  • Be willing and able to travel throughout the Eastern United States region, approximately 20-50% of the time
