Job description

  • EAMC MISSION

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • The Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacist in preparing prescription medications through front end and back end operational support ranging from data entry, filing, processing, and shipping of medications. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members are required.  
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Minimum Experience
      • N/A

    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • Alabama State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration.
      • National Certification from an accredited pharmacy technician certification program approved by specific state regulations (e.g. PTCB, ExCPT, etc.).

    • Preferred Education
      • N/A

    • Preferred Experience
      • Previous experience with ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System or ScriptPro Robotics Systems
      • 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience

    • Preferred Registration/License/Certification
      • Valid Driver’s License
