As Manager, People Technology & Analytics, you'll serve as a key conduit between the People Team (e.g., People Partners, Talent, Total Rewards), IT, Payroll, Finance, and the broader business-translating business and employee needs into scalable technology solutions, reliable data architecture, and actionable workforce analytics.

This role will play an important part in shaping how employees interact with People systems and services by building efficient workflows, scalable self-service experiences, intelligent automations, and AI-enabled solutions that improve both operational efficiency and the employee experience.
At the same time, you will help strengthen the company's workforce data and analytics capabilities-ensuring People data is accurate, well-governed, and transformed into meaningful insights that support strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and business decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone who combines systems thinking, analytical rigor, and a startup mindset, and who is comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands-on when needed.
What You'll Do:
  • Own the People technology ecosystem, with UKG serving as the core system of record, ensuring systems are scalable, connected, and aligned to business needs
  • Govern and maintain organizational data structures including entities, departments, sub-departments, job codes, job architecture, reporting hierarchies, and naming conventions to ensure consistency and reporting integrity
  • Design and oversee People systems architecture and data flows across HR platforms (e.g., ATS, payroll, benefits, compensation, performance tools), ensuring accurate and reliable upstream/downstream integrations
  • Build and maintain People reporting, dashboards, and workforce analytics (within UKG and external BI/reporting tools) to support operational and executive decision-making
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, correlations, risks, and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders to align on systems strategy, data governance, reporting logic, and workforce metrics
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and security across People systems and downstream reporting environments through audits, validation, and reconciliation processes
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate workflows, and improve reporting infrastructure, including leveraging AI and automation tools where appropriate
  • Oversee HR technology enhancements, integrations, and vendor partnerships, partnering with external consultants where appropriate for technical configuration work
  • Train and support stakeholders on People systems, reporting, and data interpretation, building scalable self-service reporting capabilities where possible
  • Identify complex system and data issues, recommend solutions, and drive resolution end-to-end

What You'll Bring to the Team:
  • 5-7+ years of experience in People Technology, HRIS, People Analytics, or related roles, including experience supporting and optimizing HR systems ecosystems
  • Strong experience with People reporting, workforce analytics, and dashboard development
  • Experience managing HRIS integrations, APIs, data feeds, and cross-system data flows
  • Strong understanding of organizational data structures and HR data governance principles
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable systems, reporting, and analytics solutions
  • Proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Snowflake, Hex, Cognos BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing workforce data and translating insights into clear recommendations and business actions
  • Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify root causes and improve processes holistically
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a high degree of ownership and adaptability
  • Experience leveraging automation and/or AI tools to improve workflows, reporting, or operational efficiency (preferred)
  • Experience with UKG or comparable HRIS platforms strongly preferred

The target base salary for this position ranges from $115,600 - $145,500, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.
Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro'ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
