College of Science-Post Part-Time Faculty Available in Natural and Life Sciences
Position Description:
The Department of Natural and Life Sciences at Long Island University (LIU) Post is inviting applications for part-time faculty in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Earth Science, Mathematics, Physics and all other related areas in Natural and Life Sciences. The candidates need to adapt to a fast-paced learning environment and be proactive, creative, self-motivated and have a strong desire to introduce project-based and experiential learning opportunities in the assigned courses and labs. Professional experience and/or equivalent research experiences are highly desired.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- M.S. degree or Ph.D. in the areas of teaching interest
- Ability to teach various undergraduate courses and labs
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment for project-based learning and excellence and effectiveness in teaching
