Job description

Job Overview:
Deaconess ENT clinics offer many services. ENT clinics provide evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and surgical care for conditions affecting the ears, nose, sinuses, throat, voice, swallowing, hearing, balance, and head and neck. Common services include hearing and ear evaluations, treatment of sinus and nasal conditions, allergy management, voice and swallowing assessments, sleep apnea and snoring evaluation, tonsil and adenoid care, ear tube placement, endoscopic procedures, biopsies, and other head-and-neck surgeries.
The Clinical Office Assistant (RN, LPN, CMA/RMA) is a versatile healthcare professional who provides both clinical and administrative support across multiple medical practices, departments, and provider teams as assigned. This position requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to quickly integrate into different clinic environments while maintaining excellent patient care, efficiency, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
The Clinical Office Assistant, Float (RN, LPN, CMA/RMA) provides clinical support across multiple departments, clinics, or provider teams as needed. This role is responsible for rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, assisting with examinations and procedures, administering medications and injections as directed, performing documentation in the electronic medical record, and supporting patient care while adapting to various work locations and providers. Candidate must demonstrates flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Education and Experience:
  • Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
  • Experience preferred but not required.

Certificates/Licenses:
Current certification/license from one of the below:
  • Certified Medical Assistant- American Association of Medical Assistants
  • Registered Medical Assistant- American Medical Technologist
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant- National Health career Association
  • National Certified Medical Assistant- National Center for Competency Testing
  • Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant- National Association for Health Professionals
  • Registered Medical Assistant- American Allied Health
  • Certified Medical Assistant Clinical- American Medical Certification Association
  • Active LPN license in state of employment
  • Active RN license in state of employment
  • CPR provider certification required.

Shift: Days - Monday-Friday
Hours:40 per week
Pay Ranges:
Clinic RN- $26.04-$36.45
Clinic LPN-$22.32-$31.25
CMA/RMA-$19.14-$26.79
