QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Hold current CDL
  2. Responsible
  3. Must have a telephone in their home
  4. Must have physical examine every two years to keep license current.
  5. State police criminal history check
  6. Submit fingerprints history to the central office
  7. Good moral character
  8. Does not use intoxicating liquor during school hours
  9. Does not use intoxicating liquor to excess at any time
  10. Not addicted to any narcotic drugs
  11. Sufficient physical ability to drive a school buses.
  12. Possession and full use of hands, both arms, both feet, both eyes and both ears.
  13. Freedom from any communicable disease.
  14. Freedom from any mental, nervous, organic, or functional disease, which might impair the person's ability too properly operate a school bus.
  15. Visual acuity, with or without glasses, of at least 20/40 in each eye and a field of vision with 150-degree minimum and with depth perception of at least 80%.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Pre-trip check bus before route/trip.
  2. Radio into central office each am.
  3. Must attend annual safety meeting.
  4. Hold a BI-annual evacuation drill.
  5. Responsible for discipline on their bus.
  6. Fuel buses/check oil and all additives and check tires.
  7. To cooperate fully with the central office in completing all special reports, updated bus maps, and attending meetings called by the superintendent.
  8. Keep the bus clean inside and out.
  9. Contact mechanic when you have bus problems and every 3000-mile oil change.
  10. Attend pre-school meeting at the beginning of the school year.
  11. Operate the bus in a safe manner at all times.
  12. Operate the bus within all Federal, State and Local laws at all times.
