We are seeking a dedicated EP Tech for our medical office.

Position Overview

***No nights, weekends, or on-calls***

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist to join our highโ€‘performing cardiac electrophysiology team. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, excellent patientโ€‘care skills, and a passion for supporting cuttingโ€‘edge EP procedures that make a lifeโ€‘changing difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist electrophysiologists during EP procedures, including catheter placements, ablations, EP studies, and cardiac device implantations.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and understanding.
  • Monitor hemodynamic and ECG data in real time, identifying arrhythmias and alerting providers as needed.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced EP lab equipment, including mapping systems, stimulators, and ICE technology.
  • Maintain accurate, timely procedure documentation and uphold all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Support emergency response actions during complications and participate in rapid interventions when required.
  • Collaborate with CCC cardiologists, nurses, anesthesia team, and fellow technologists to ensure smooth procedural flow.
  • Participate in ongoing training and continue to advance skillsets as EP technologies evolve.

Qualifications

  • Associateโ€™s or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field required.
  • Preferred certifications:
    • RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
    • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
  • 1โ€“2 years of EP Lab experience preferred; advanced experience highly valued.
  • Strong ECG interpretation skills and foundational knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patientโ€‘care abilities.
