Software Engineer (AI & Product Development)
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma or Houston, Texas (onsite 4 days/week)
Role Overview
This role is focused on rapid application development using AI-assisted tools and the Microsoft Power Platform. The position blends business requirements gathering, rapid prototyping, AI-assisted coding, and full lifecycle product delivery. The objective is to translate business problems into working prototypes and production-ready applications in an agile, AI-enabled environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • * Rapidly prototype applications and user interface concepts. * Use AI tools to assist development, generate code and test cases, and accelerate delivery. * Build or integrate AI-enabled features into applications, experimenting with emerging tools and frameworks. * Maintain and enhance existing application systems to meet organizational objectives.
  • Lead the design, development, testing, and debugging of software solutions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project goals, and translate needs into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the documentation of software solutions and processes.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree in an IT-related field and a minimum of five years of IT experience; or an associate's degree and a minimum of eight years of IT experience; or a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of twelve years of IT experience.
Technical Skills:
  • * Proficiency in database querying and design. * Demonstrates strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Experience designing scalable and maintainable software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • * Knowledge of prompt engineering or AI-assisted development. * Experience rapidly building prototypes or internal tools.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
