The company provides training for pilots, technicians and other aviation professionals from 167 countries and independent territories. FlightSafety operates the world’s largest fleet of advanced full-flight simulators and award-winning maintenance training at Learning Centers and training locations in the United States, Canada, France and the United Kingdom.

Purpose of Position

The Collections Supervisor will oversee the collections activities at FlightSafety. The Collection Supervisor will also be responsible for managing, coaching and training a team of Collections Coordinators.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and facilitate daily collections operations, provide direction, set priorities, and oversee team performance to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee the processes ensuring minimizing AR balances across the company.
  • Provide KPI and collections metrics to upper management and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee and process complex credit card payments and refunds.
  • Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and provide recommendations to Director.
  • Manage escalated collection issues from the team.
  • Support Director with special projects as assigned.
  • Identify and recommend ways to streamline collections services and improve processes.
  • Oversee and support the coaching, development, and training of team members.
Minimum Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree
Minimum Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • SAP/Salesforce or similar software preferred
  • Proven ability to supervise a team
  • Proven success in a collection role
  • Knowledge of credit terms, and collections techniques
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner
  • Ability to train and motivate team members
