The Community group is looking for a civil engineering intern to assist design teams on various site design related projects.
Our internship program is a 12-week paid summer program.  We offer in-depth work experience on real client projects.  The successful candidate will work directly with the diverse technical experts of the Community Development group in a supportive and collaborative design team environment that seeks to maximize team member engagement.  The position is full-time Monday through Friday. 
  • Perform basic site and drainage designs
  • Implement Sustainable Site design principles
  • Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications
  • Provide construction administration support
  • Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro
  • Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs
  • Prior experience with CAD software preferred
  • Ability to perform field work
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment
