Product Enablement Manager

Cato Networks

Phoenix, AZ

Full-time

Re-posted 17 days ago

Job description

Welcome to the future of cloud networking and security!

Cato Networks is the first company to converge enterprise networking and security into one centralized and global service that is delivered by cloud. It is led by networking and security pioneer Shlomo Kramer (Check Point, Imperva) and early investor (Palo Alto Networks, Exabeam, Trusteer and more). Cato's unique technology inspired a brand-new product category, later named "SASE" by Gartner and a market expected to reach $28.5 billion by 2028.
This is your opportunity to get on the rocket ship and join a company that is building a cutting-edge enterprise network and secure cloud platform, and is on a fast track to becoming the worldwide market leader – don't miss it!

About the Role

We're looking for a strategic, execution-focused Product Enablement Manager to lead our efforts in educating technical users — customers, partners, and internal teams — on how to successfully use and adopt the Cato platform.

This role sits at the intersection of product, education, customer success, and enablement operations. You will own Product Enablement end-to-end: from self-paced learning and product update enablement to hands-on labs, technical certification, content systems, and scalable enablement processes.

This is a leadership role, but not a hands-off management role. The right person will balance team leadership with direct contribution. You should be comfortable setting direction, managing priorities, and building sustainable systems, while also reviewing content, improving learning experiences, solving operational gaps, and jumping in when needed.

Cato moves fast. We value practical execution: build quickly, validate what works, and mature successful initiatives into robust, repeatable systems. We are not looking for someone who over-engineers long-term solutions before proving value, nor someone who relies only on ad-hoc execution without building for scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the Product Enablement strategy for technical users, aligned with the product roadmap, adoption goals, and business priorities.
  • Manage and scale a portfolio of enablement programs and learning experiences, including eLearning, product update enablement, hands-on labs, technical certification, webinars, and reusable enablement content.
  • Lead and develop a highly technical team of content creators, enablement engineers, and contractors, including ownership of Demo Mode infrastructure and delivery, while staying directly involved in key deliverables.
  • Build practical, scalable enablement systems and workflows for content intake, prioritization, ownership, governance, and publishing.
  • Move quickly to test new enablement ideas, validate impact, and mature successful initiatives into sustainable, repeatable processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, PMM, Technical Writing, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, SE Enablement, Channel, and regional teams.
  • Establish structured feedback loops with customers, partners, field teams, Support, and Customer Success to identify enablement gaps and prioritize improvements.
  • Manage enablement-related tools, vendors, platforms, and budgets, including LMS/LXP, lab environments, certification platforms, webinar tools, and related services.
  • Use data, learner feedback, stakeholder input, and business priorities to continuously improve content quality, learner engagement, and program relevance.
  • Champion the voice of the technical user, ensuring enablement content is practical, accurate, accessible, and grounded in real-world usage.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product enablement, technical training, technical content, education programs, or enablement operations in cybersecurity, networking, or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of technical personas such as network engineers, security architects, IT administrators, partners, and support/field teams.
  • Proven ability to manage both people and programs while remaining hands-on with content, process improvement, and execution.
  • Experience developing or scaling eLearning, technical certification, hands-on labs, product training, or product update enablement.
  • Experience building practical enablement workflows, content operations, or governance processes without over-engineering.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to align Product, GTM, Support, Customer Success, and partner-facing teams.
  • Experience managing enablement platforms, vendors, tools, budgets, or operational planning.
  • Comfortable using AI, automation, or workflow tools to improve team efficiency, content operations, or learner experience.
  • Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Passion for translating complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and practical learning experiences.

Cato provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits plan. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), stock options, Health Savings/Flexible Spending Accounts, flexible time-off, paid parental leave and disability benefits.

As an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status.
