Shriners Children's Ohio is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a part-time, night shift schedule. The ideal candidate will bring experience in pediatric critical care respiratory therapy and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Hours:  This part-time, night shift position will work 2/12s and rotate every 3rd weekend.  

Responsibilities
  • Provides primary respiratory care to patients from admission through their discharge under a physician's order
  • Communicates verbal and/or written patient and departmental information/special needs to pertinent persons in a timely and appropriate manner (i.e. rounds)
  • Documents accurate, specific, complete patient care data according to policy and procedure guidelines
  • Assures safe, cost effective operation and function of pertinent equipment and utilizes appropriate infection control techniques in all areas

Qualifications

Required

Associate Degree - Respiratory Therapy

RT license in state of practice

Certified Respiratory Therapist

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (within six months)

Preferred

2 Years respiratory therapy experience in an ICU setting2 Years pediatric experience

Registered Respiratory Therapist
