Job Summary
Target Specialty Products is seeking a strategic and technically-adept eCommerce Project Manager. This role is the critical bridge between our business leadership, internal departments (Sales, Marketing, Ops), and our external development agencies.
You will act as the primary "Business Liaison," ensuring that our digital platforms-including Target-specialty.com, Turffuel.com, and Target-specialty.ca-not only perform at peak efficiency but evolve to meet our business goals. This is a role for a person who can manage day-to-day site updates while simultaneously driving a long-term strategic roadmap.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Works with leaders to develop the strategic direction of the Ecommerce roadmap (for Target-specialty.com, Turffuel.com, and Target-specialty.ca) and drives website enhancement projects from ideation to launch.
  • Works with internal stakeholders to align website functionality with business needs, and acts as an internal expert providing CMS training and functional support for internal teams.
  • Implements strategy for ensuring conversion rate optimization, develops KPI reporting on site statistics, and stays ahead of SEO techniques and eCommerce security trends.
  • Implements strategy for meeting and exceeding ecommerce revenue goals by executing day-to-day site updates, new product setups, merchandising, maintaining accurate catalog availability, and monitoring Adobe Commerce system health, security patches, and site uptime.
  • Acts as the primary liaison to manage vendor relationships and the centralized IT group, oversee third-party development agencies, negotiate compromises during technical impasses, manage the support ticket pipeline, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and the formal Change Request process.
  • Develops and reviews quality assurance standards regarding Ecommerce delivery systems ensuring a seamless flow of data between HubSpot, NAV, and Adobe Commerce

Required Experience
  • 5 years Ecommerce experience to include working with website User Experience (UX), Web Content Management systems, and a heavy emphasis on Project Management.
  • Experience in determining current and future Ecommerce trends, as well as planning, forecasting, and building modern Ecommerce systems and solutions to build sales.
  • Deep understanding of online marketing practices, web development principles, project management skills, and a proven track record of managing third-party development vendors and agencies.
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Advanced experience and proficiency with Adobe Commerce (Magento) required.

Required Leadership Traits and Characteristics
  • Ability to effectively manage third-party development vendors and hold them accountable to timelines and budgets.
  • Communication skills to keep leadership aware of key decisions and accomplishments, with an exceptional ability to translate "business speak" into "technical requirements" and vice versa.
  • Desire to take ownership of the KPIs and manage progress against them

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required

Base Pay Range $103,500 - $134,600 / year
While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
