Role and Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead order fulfillment operations for VD and DA product lines exclusively through the Samsung.com direct-to-consumer channel.
  • Oversee daily fulfillment execution, including order management, shipment processing, carrier coordination, and exception resolution for all Samsung.com orders
  • Manage fulfillment performance across Samsung's dedicated D2C distribution centers and 3PL partners, ensuring customer SLAs and delivery promise dates are consistently met
  • Develop and enforce SOPs for D2C order workflows, including:
    • Standard parcel delivery for smaller DA and monitor products
    • Large-item and white-glove delivery for TVs, refrigerators, washers, and major appliances
    • In-home installation and haul-away services for DA products sold through Samsung.com
  • Oversee Samsung.com order promise accuracy, working with IT and platform teams to ensure delivery date commitments align with actual fulfillment capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce D2C fulfillment cycle times, minimize order errors, and improve customer delivery experience
  • Serve as the central inventory watchtower across all 7 Samsung D2C fulfillment warehouses for VD and DA product lines
  • Monitor, audit, and govern inventory positions across all fulfillment nodes - ensuring Category and SCM teams are maintaining accurate, healthy, and well-positioned inventory at all times
  • Proactively identify inventory risks, misalignments, and discrepancies across the 7-warehouse network - including stockouts, overstock, misallocated inventory, and fulfillment node imbalances
  • Drive cross-functional accountability - ensuring Category teams are making timely merchandising decisions and SCM teams are executing replenishment, transfers, and receipts accurately
  • Develop accurate carrier volume forecasts by analyzing Samsung.com order trends, site traffic patterns, promotional calendars, and historical shipment data to project how many orders will be tendered to each carrier per week
  • Develop peak season carrier capacity plans for high-volume periods, including the holiday season

Skills and Qualifications

Background & Competencies Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 6+years relevant experience in fulfillment or eCommerce business operations
  • Experience creating process flows, procedural documentation and business reporting to include KPI measurement
