Salary: $25/hr
Responsibilities
Mythical is looking for an E-Commerce Assistant to help keep the day-to-day operations of our online stores running smoothly. This role supports a wide range of E-Commerce functions, including site merchandising, product development, fulfillment, launches, reporting, and customer experience, while working closely with our Design team and other cross-functional partners.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple recurring responsibilities. They are proactive about keeping projects moving, following up on open items, and completing tasks on time. An understanding of digital commerce and an interest in consumer products are a plus.
This position reports to the E-Commerce Manager.
Core Duties
  • Using Shopify, prepare product pages for upcoming product launches, including uploading assets, size charts, tags, and product descriptions
  • Support the management of site merchandising, collection organization, and product availability to improve customer shopping experience
  • Communicate details for samples and full run orders to vendors
  • Track new product status through quoting, sampling, and production, updating current status in Monday.com and Google Slides daily
  • Work with Mythical's third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and vendors to coordinate inbound shipments, troubleshoot fulfillment issues, and send out internal order requests
  • Monitor orders in Shopify to make sure orders are shipping out as expected
  • Monitor product reviews and take-downs of fraudulent merchandise weekly
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Mythical's customer service agents, answering basic questions and assisting with pre-order fulfillment, escalating issues when necessary
  • Compile biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reports for review in Google Sheets
  • Support cross-functional initiatives with teams including Design, Marketing, and Production

Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of Shopify, ideally in a DTC environment
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Gmail, Slides, and Calendar
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to independently and consistently manage recurring responsibilities
  • Interest in the full product lifecycle, from development to fulfillment
  • Experience with inventory management systems and/or 3PLs is a plus
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com or Notion is a plus
  • Excitement for online shopping, fandoms, and/or the digital creator space is a plus
