Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Our client is in search of a seasoned Senior Dynamics 365 F&O Developer and Administrator who possesses profound expertise in developing innovative solutions and application administration resulting in significant business value.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dynamics 365 F&O implementations spanning the SDLC, and demonstrated depth of operational experience supporting and enhancing the system.
  • A significant part of this role will include working on a Microsoft Dynamics Quote-to-Cash ERP implementation requiring a strong understanding of F&O capabilities including SCM and Dual Write. This function reports to the Director, AppDev D365.

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure all solutions comply with security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement best practices for data security, encryption, and privacy.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
  • Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement performance tuning strategies to optimize system efficiency and user experience.
  • Monitor and maintain system health and stability.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.

Key Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of Dynamics 365 F&O/AX development experience, including experience working for an end-user or partner in a Sr. Developer or Technical Architect role.
  • At least one (1) full-cycle Dynamics 365 implementation in a lead technical role. Three (3) or more implementations are preferred.
  • Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.
  • Experience designing, configuring, deploying, and using Azure DevOps pipelines and repos.
  • Experience with Azure Federated Services, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), and associated technologies.
  • Expertise in LCS and Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of complex coding frameworks found throughout X++ and how/when to apply and utilize them.
  • Understanding of code extension methodology and pros/cons of each approach: event handlers, chain of command.
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
  • Demonstrable understanding of how/when to apply specific integration strategies.
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of data migration approaches.
  • Demonstrable understanding of how/when to apply specific approaches to data migration.
  • Familiarity with Dual-Write, Power Platform, and Dataverse is required.
  • (Preferred) Experience with Dual-Write.
  • (Preferred) Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps.
  • (Preferred) Experience with Jira.
  • (Preferred) Working solutions and functional knowledge of the system, such as AR, AP, GL, PIM, and other modules.
  • (Preferred) Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Dynamics 365 VMs, including cloud-hosted (Azure / LCS) VMs.
  • (Preferred) Relevant certifications, Bachelor''''''''s Degree.
