Do you have experience in security, the military, or law enforcement?
At Dynamic Integrated Security, we are hiring Armed Security Officers to play a key role in enhancing school safety for Broward County.
The selected candidate will receive paid training at the Sheriff's Training Academy in Jacksonville:
Training Start Date: July 2026
Training Duration: 5ยฝ weeks (PAID)
We offer a competitive progressive salary structure starting at $15.00 per hour during the initial training academy. Upon successful graduation, the rate increases to $22.00 per hour, with a further increase to $24.00 per hour after completing the 90-day probation period.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Supervise and enforce security protocols
โ€ข Respond to emergencies and critical incidents
โ€ข Build positive relationships and prevent conflicts
โ€ข Conduct security drills and training exercises
โ€ข Prepare incident reports and documentation
Requirements
Education:
โ€ข High school diploma or GED
โ€ข Training in law enforcement, military, or security fields
Experience & Skills:
โ€ข Minimum of 8 years of combined experience in: military, law enforcement, corrections, security, or emergency response
โ€ข Advanced firearms proficiency and tactical training
โ€ข Intermediate knowledge of emergency response protocols and reporting tools
โ€ข Ability to work both indoors and outdoors for extended periods
โ€ข Proficiency in written and spoken English
Core Competencies:
โ€ข Crisis management and problem-solving
โ€ข Effective communication and relationship-building
โ€ข Knowledge of school and law enforcement policies
Required Licenses:
โ€ข D, G, DL, and CCW licenses
โ€ข Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Other Requirements:
โ€ข Must pass a drug screening (s. 112.0455), psychological evaluation (Chapter 490), and background check
โ€ข Must own a personal firearm, duty belt (Level 3 retention holster), and 5 magazines
โ€ข Must be at least 21 years old
โ€ข Must comply with on-site attendance requirements
โ€ข Job Type: Full-time
Shift: 8 hours
