Position Title: Substitute Teachers
Reports to: Principal
St. Patrick Catholic School in Brighton, Michigan is accepting applications for substitute teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for faith-filled individuals who are energetic, dedicated, talented, and ready to teach all grade level core subjects and religion instruction. Candidate must possess strong communication skills, solid classroom management skills, a willingness to work as a part of a team, and the ability to use technology tools in a classroom setting.
St. Patrick Catholic School is a dynamic Catholic school of excellence in Brighton, MI. Located at 1001 Charles Orndorf Drive, Brighton, Michigan, our school is a 50,000 square foot building located on 13 acres of beautiful, natural surroundings. We are deeply committed to forming missionary disciples, spiritually, intellectually, and in Christ-like character that will last a lifetime. Our school community is a credible witness to the truth, beauty, and goodness of Jesus Christ.
Applicant must have completed at least 90 semester hours of college credit, with at least a 2.0 GPA, at a four-year, regionally accredited institution. A valid State of MI teaching certificate or substitute certification is preferred but not required. Ability and desire to support Catholic school education required. Employment is contingent upon a background check, fingerprints, and have completed Virtus training.
