Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:
Provide technical support services, responding to issues and assisting in tasks.
Contribute to projects and tasks under supervision.
Work with the team to address challenges and meet departmental needs.
Support the development of documentation, including incident logs and records.
Continue to develop and enhance technical skills.
Follow established best practices and standards in service delivery.

  • Quarterly IT Review - Once a quarter - will assist in client's quarterly IT review. This work will consume a lot of time for the months the quarterly review is done.
  • Password Reset - Work ServiceNow tickets for mainframe password resets (Varies - but on avg 1-3 per day)
  • Review Daily Terminated users and Identify any with Mainframe Access (Daily process - maybe 20 minutes). There is also a weekly process to follow at the EOW (~ 20 minutes).
  • Print AP Checks/Solimar Print Server sign in and release the print after checks loaded to printer (once or twice weekly)
  • ServiceNow Dispatching - Monitoring SN ticket queues and assigning tickets that come into the Mainframe Support queue.
  • AUL (Affected Units List) - get 1-3 per month. May take an hour. Just have to plug in the parts the business wants to search to identify jobs that used those parts - then run a process to produce a report - and then format/send that report to requestor.


Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically, 2+ years of relevant work experience
A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:
An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
