Schedule: 12 hours shifts

Joining our Float Pool team means you'll work alongside diverse care teams across several nursing units at Sovah Health, making a meaningful impact wherever you go.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

  • Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and related medical care.
  • Documents care provided in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
  • Displays initiative and flexibility to float throughout the building to support departments and staff.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be a graduate of a professional school of nursing

Should have a current VA RN license or compact state

Bachelors preferred but not required

Previous experience highly preferred

Additional requirements include:

* American Heart Association Basic Life Support

* American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three (3) months of hire

* American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC) Emergency Nurse Association required or within six (6) months of hire.
