What is a dude?

The term 'dude' is typically informal and does not refer to a specific professional job title. Historically, 'dude' was used in American English to describe a man, often an urbanite visiting a rural or Western area, especially on a 'dude ranch.' In modern usage, 'dude' is a casual slang term for a person, usually male, and is not associated with a formal occupation or set of job responsibilities. Therefore, if you see 'dude' as a job title, it is likely being used humorously or informally rather than as a recognized professional role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a dude, and why are they important?

I'm sorry, but 'Dude' is not a recognized real-world professional occupation, so I can't provide a relevant response.

If you're passionate about making an impact, love working in a fast-paced environment, and aren't afraid to bring big ideas to life, we'd love to hear from you!

Position Overview

We're looking for a Production Manager to oversee day-to-day production operations across Dude Perfect content. This role will be responsible for driving production clarity, managing cross-channel timelines, and ensuring ambitious, high-concept videos are executed efficiently from pre-production through post handoff. This is a highly operational, leadership-level role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, large-scale production environments. The ideal candidate has expert-level experience managing complex, YouTube-first or sports-entertainment style productions where logistics, safety, and execution must be tightly coordinated while staying on budget. They anticipate production needs early, remain calm under pressure, communicate clearly across teams, and implement structured production processes that allow teams to scale without sacrificing quality or execution.

Responsibilities
  • Production Execution
    • Work closely with Producers to ensure shoot logistics, including crew coordination, equipment, locations, and vendors, are properly planned and aligned.
    • Ensure production teams are fully prepared and aligned prior to shoot days.
    • Support structured, efficient on-set operations while maintaining safety and execution standards.
    • Maintain clarity and accountability across production teams during shoots.
  • Budgeting & Financial Oversight
    • Build, supervise, and approve production budgets across channels and projects.
    • Maintain visibility into production spend and ensure projects remain within approved scope.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination & Operations
    • Serve as the primary point of contact to Creative Directors, Legal, and Finance during pre-production and production.
    • Ensure smooth and organized handoffs from Production to Post-Production.
    • Provide leadership with visibility into production timelines, bandwidth, and capacity.
    • Improve communication, tracking, and accountability within the production pipeline.
    • Develop, train, and enforce production processes and standards across teams.
    • Guide and elevate Producers in budgeting, logistics, and operational execution.
    • Maintain clear documentation and workflow standards across productions.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in production management, line producing, and/or physical production within digital media, sports or entertainment.
  • Proven experience building and supervising production budgets.
  • Strong understanding of legal, financial, and compliance considerations in physical production.
  • Experience operating as logistical authority on complex, high-scale digital or YouTube-focused production environments.
  • Strong understanding of production and post-production timelines, dependencies, and delivery processes.
  • Strong expertise in production scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination.
  • Experience overseeing crews, vendors, and on-set logistics.
  • Deep understanding of Branded Content workflows & client management.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects at a time.
  • Clear, professional communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack, and project management tools.
Benefits
  • Health, dental, vision insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid time off & holidays
  • Unique access to Dude Perfect productions, events, and experiences
