Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented supervisor to lead duct cleaning operations with a strong focus on HVAC industrial hygiene, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will oversee field crews, coordinate project execution, ensure adherence to industry standards, and help maintain clean, efficient indoor air systems across commercial and industrial environments.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily duct cleaning and HVAC hygiene operations, including crew scheduling, jobsite coordination, and workflow management.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with established industry standards, company procedures, and project specifications.
  • Lead field teams in the proper use of cleaning equipment, containment methods, and verification procedures.
  • Monitor job quality, productivity, and safety performance to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Conduct site assessments, review scope requirements, and support planning for efficient project execution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including job reports, inspection notes, service records, and completion summaries.
  • Communicate with clients, property managers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve project-related concerns.
  • Train, coach, and support team members to promote professionalism, technical competence, and safety awareness.
  • Identify equipment needs, support inventory control, and help ensure tools and materials are properly maintained.
  • Enforce compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Experience supervising duct cleaning, HVAC maintenance, environmental services, or related industrial hygiene work.
  • NADCA certification is required or strongly preferred, depending on employer standards.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems, duct cleaning methods, containment practices, and indoor air quality principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and coordinate multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read scopes of work, follow technical procedures, and complete accurate documentation.
  • Comfortable working in commercial, industrial, or mechanical environments.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and a clean driving record may be required.
  • Ability to pass any required background check, drug screening, or safety training requirements, where permitted by law.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience managing remediation, restoration, or environmental hygiene projects.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and general jobsite hazard awareness.
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and make sound decisions in the field.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
