Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Architect- Duck Creek Reinsurance to lead the design and delivery of innovative, customer-centric Duck Creek-based solutions within the reinsurance domain. The Duck Creek Reinsurance Business Architect will be the primary functional and solution design authority for ceded and/or assumed reinsurance capabilities on the Duck Creek platform in North America.

This leader will drive practice strategy for reinsurance, large program delivery excellence, capability building, and innovation, and will act as a client-facing technology and domain leader across strategic Re/insurance accounts.

What You'll Be Doing Large Program Delivery Ownership - Reinsurance Implementations
  • Lead and govern large Duck Creek programs with significant reinsurance scope (greenfield implementations, legacy replacement, and integration-heavy transformations).
  • Own outcomes for large engagements, including the functional and architectural integrity of reinsurance design, as well as the delivery predictability for reinsurance workstreams and releases
Solutioning, Pre-Sales & Revenue Enablement
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of reinsurance-focused solutions (ceded and/or assumed) on Duck Creek, spanning treaty, facultative, and program/MGA business.
  • Own the end-to-end reinsurance solutioning process, including:
    • Understanding client reinsurance operating models, accounting practices, and regulatory/reporting needs
    • Translating reinsurance requirements into Duck Creek product, rating, workflow, and integration designs
    • Responding to RFPs/RFIs with detailed solution architecture, scope, and value propositions for Duck Creek Reinsurance
    • Creating proactive proposals and PoVs around reinsurance modernization, bordereaux automation, and data transparency
    • Preparing and delivering functional demos, solution walkthroughs, and oral defences for business and IT stakeholders
    • Ensure that Duck Creek Reinsurance solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with transformation objectives, finance/ledger integration, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Build practice offerings aligned to Insurance SI needs and drive account expansion using scalable, reusable solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to shape opportunities, win deals, and position Xceedance as a strategic engineering partner.
What You Bring
  • 15+ years of experience in system implementation and delivery leadership, ideally in SI / Consulting / Product Engineering environments.
  • 5+ years of reinsurance domain knowledge and familiarity with Reinsurance platforms specially Duck Creek Reinsurance covering Delivery / Practice / Portfolio management.
  • Prior executive stakeholder management experience gained from onsite engagements in US. Prefer exposure to global engagements such as UK / Australia (or similar international markets)
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Strong delivery governance using Agile/SAFe, DevSecOps, CI/CD, test automation, and release readiness practices.
  • Excellent executive communication, client advisory, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to scale teams, standardize engineering delivery, and build high-performance delivery culture.
