Job description

Job Description
1. Lead program collaboration efforts between Genesis and Direct Supply to ensure needs are met with both organizations
a. Serve as the primary point of contact for Genesis as directed by Direct Supply leadership.
b. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to deliver the right solutions for Genesis
c. Enhance the overall partnership between Genesis and Direct Supply
d. Partner with one Genesis regional VP of property management/environmental services and build foundation for role expansion into other regions
2. Manage complex projects critical to the success of the Genesis-Direct Supply partnership from start to finish delivering desired results.
a. Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of identified, high-ROI projects with Genesis corporate leadership and DS partners
3. Communicate with key stakeholders and share information as needed
a. Gather necessary executive-level reporting to provide insights into current Genesis activities with Direct Supply
b. Enhance communication between Genesis and all Direct Supply lines of business
c. Build and maintain relationships with key Genesis corporate leaders and staff
4. Optimize Genesis's Capital ordering process and manage the overall capital partnership with Direct Supply
a. Develop equipment and furnishings formulary recommendations with Genesis and Direct Supply partners; implement standards programs in assigned Genesis regions
b. Facilitate the Capital approval process between the corporate headquarters, facilities and Direct Supply to fulfill on budgeted and emergency capital products
c. Work closely with the Direct Supply sales teams to improve ordering processes, coordinate identified services, and develop budgets that meet Genesis's needs
d. Work closely with Genesis employees to develop Capital budgets and identify opportunities to drive out costs and enable corporate compliance
5. Optimize Genesis's TELS and Local Services programs and manage the overall partnership with Direct Supply
a. Drive life safety and building maintenance compliance with reporting and escalation to the regional VP(s) of property management/environmental services
b. Collaborate with the regional VP(s) of property management/environmental services to drive Local Services program awareness and compliance
c. Coordinate TELS help desk support to support facility usage and compliance
d. Identify and communicate TELS process improvements and best practices with Genesis corporate- and facility-level contacts
e. Facilitate the Local Services quote approval process between the corporate headquarters, facilities and Direct Supply to deliver on Genesis needs
f. Coordinate Local Services customer advocacy support to Genesis's corporate headquarters and facilities to drive a sense of urgency and resolution with suppliers
6. Coordinate dialog surrounding Genesis's DSSI site at the corporate- and facility-level with the support of DSSI partners, helping to improve the experience when possible.
a. Work closely with any already dedicated DSSI/Genesis resources whether in Kennett Square or Milwaukee
b. Support Genesis's DSSI compliance
c. Oversee high-visibility projects' execution by DSSI partners to ensure corporate- and facility-level success, system optimization and ongoing end-user support
d. Stay engaged with DSSI customer advocacy support to Genesis's corporate headquarters and facilities to drive a sense of urgency with suppliers to meet Genesis's needs and desired outcomes
7. Optimize Genesis's communication and collaboration with Aptura on current development, renovation and design projects, as well as new opportunities
a. Enable Genesis procurement practices to support its development strategy and develop facility standards; identify equipment and furniture opportunities for Direct Supply execution
b. Coordinate identified Aptura project activities with Genesis and Direct Supply partners when required
Skill Set
1. Bachelor's degree in business related field 2. 3+ years of experience in sales and/or sales support 3. Ability to live near Genesis HealthCare's corporate headquarters in Kennett Square, PA and work there 5 days/week; must be able to travel to Milwaukee, WI for Direct Supply training and other mandatory meetings as identified 4. Valid, unexpired state driver's license required 5. High degree of customer focus 6. Demonstrated success working independently and handling multiple projects 7. Energetic and motivated with a desire to succeed 8. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite 9. Demonstrated competencies in urgency and escalation 10. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines 11. Ability to make quick, smart decisions independently with limited information 12.
