JOB SUMMARY
DSS is seeking student workers (Federal Work Study preferred) for the 2026-2027 academic year. Work hours would be between 8:45AM to 4:45PM- Monday through Friday.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Student workers will provide general office duties; answering phones, scanning and shredding documents, help with miscellaneous office projects. They will assist students with general questions, provide registration information, help students request accommodation letters and schedule exam proctoring. Student workers will assist staff with exam proctoring.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
No prior experience necessary. Only Seton Hall Students registered for classes for the 2026-2027 academic year should apply. Students with Federal Work Study will be given first preference. (If you are eligible for Federal Work Study, it will be listed on your Financial Aid Offer on the University Portal)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with general office environment, customer service skills. Applicants should be outgoing, friendly and polite, detail oriented and be willing to work in a busy environment.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Please be prepared to provide your Federal Work Study award amount and work availability (Monday - Friday) at the time of your interview.
Approximately 10 hours per week during school year
