Mountain Lakes Estates is an Independent Living Community located in Reno, NV where exceptional service and quality living are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our community safe, beautiful, and running smoothly while providing outstanding service to our residents.


Responsibilities

  • Complete maintenance work orders promptly and professionally.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and property inspections.
  • Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including painting, drywall repairs, and general maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems.
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in the rotating on-call schedule.
  • Assist with seasonal property maintenance, including snow removal.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supply inventory.
  • Deliver friendly, professional service to residents, vendors, and team members.
  • Follow all company safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in residential, commercial, or multifamily properties.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills for completing digital work orders.
